Just like Microsoft Office and your smartphone, software needs updating, and so does your website.   These updates must be installed to keep your WordPress installation clean and safe.  Not installing the updates can result in problems with the site, and compromise your email server. The level and sophistication of hacking on websites worldwide is rising dramatically.

Each major WordPress release has new features and changes to the software, performance improvements that make WP run faster and more efficiently, and it will fix any bugs that may have slipped through the cracks.

In some cases, an update can break the plugins that are installed on your site, and that is why it is extremely important to have regular WordPress backups.

I have designed this service to offer you peace of mind that your website will run smoothly and you don’t have to worry about it.

 

These are the benefits of our Maintenance Plans:

• Enhanced security – I will handle all your WordPress core, theme and plugin updates so your site stays running and secure against unwanted attacks, security flaws and crashing plugins
• I will do a monthly or semi-monthly backup of the website, so if something does occur that makes the site vulnerable or somehow it is hacked, I have a clean backup of the site to re-install
• Database optimizations
• Security checks for Malware and vulnerabilities
• You will receive quarterly emails with a report of updates, analytics, and security scans that have been done on your site

 

This does not include any updates to the content of your website, or redesign of websites. It is strictly maintenance of the existing WordPress website and plugins in order to keep everything running smoothly and free of malicious codes.
